ABOUT NAC
The Company was formed in 1993 by Richard Ahlers, a prominent figure in the New Zealand Insurance broking fraternity. Our broker and vehicle dealer network now extends throughout New Zealand with over 200 brokers using our facility.
The products NAC Insurance provides include private motor vehicle, motorbikes, and light commercial
and fleet insurance.

NAC Insurance is a Business Division of IAG New Zealand Limited, New Zealand's largest insurer. IAG New Zealand Limited received a Standard & Poor's (Australia) Pty Ltd rating of AA- ("Very Strong") on November 03 , 2009.
This means we have a 'Very Strong' claims paying ability, as you can see in the scale below. As a customer, this is important to you as it is your reassurance that we will be able to pay out on your claims now and in the future.
