Making a Claim
We understand that it can be very stressful when you’ve been involved in an accident or when your car or motorbike has been stolen. At NAC we aim to make our claims process as easy and stress-free as possible for you.
Give us a call on 0800 501 508 and let us know about any damage as soon as possible. Your Claims Handler will then take you through any information that we need to get your repairs underway, or what will happen if your vehicle is a total loss.
You will need to fill out a Claim Form, which you can download from the right hand side of this page. When you have a claim you may also be asked by us to fill out a driver check consent form, which can also be downloaded from the right hand side of this page.
If your claim is for a windscreen only, don’t worry about completing a form, simply call us to sort the repairs.
We have a network of preferred repairers throughout the country; if you choose to have your vehicle repaired with one of them we’ll guarantee their work for as long as you own the vehicle.
If you receive documents from anyone else about your claim give us a call on 0800 501 508 as soon as possible.
- Make sure that you take reasonable precautions to prevent any further loss or damage to your vehicle – always get your vehicle towed to a safe place if it is unable to be driven following an accident. The tow costs will be covered once the claim is accepted*.
- Please don’t spend any money on repairs or replacement parts without talking to us first. If it’s an emergency, go ahead, but keep any receipts to claim a reimbursement.
- If you may have caused damage to someone else’s property, please don’t admit you are at fault. After the immediate stress has passed, you may later find out that there were other reasons for the accident. Simply say you need to speak to your insurer and phone us on 0800 501 508.
* Tow costs are not covered under Third Party only insurance.
