Terms and Conditions for the $500 monthly promotion

  1. The NAC Monthly $500 Promotion (“Promotion”) is run by NAC, a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited, 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland (“NAC”).
  2. Information on how to enter the Promotion forms part of these terms and conditions. By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  3. The Promotion commences at 12:00am on Thursday 31 August 2017 and will continue until ended by NAC in its sole discretion (“Promotion Period”).

Eligibility

  1. Entry is open to any NAC customer who is a resident of New Zealand and who holds a current and valid NAC car or motorbike insurance policy (“Qualifying Policy”) during the Promotion Period, provided they have:
    1. made at least one premium payment on their Qualifying Policy; and
    2. are otherwise up to date with their payment obligations at the date of the relevant prize draw (“Eligible Customer”).
  2. Tourist Insurance is not classed as a Qualifying Policy.
  3. Employees of IAG New Zealand Limited and their immediate families are ineligible to win.
  4. Each Eligible Customer will receive one entry into each of the monthly prize draws provided that they continue to meet the eligibility criteria set out in clause 4.

Prizes

  1. There is one (1) monthly prize draw. One winner will be drawn at random within 5 business days following the last day of each month during the Promotion Period. The first eligible entry drawn will receive the Prize.
  2. Each monthly prize consists of a $500 Prezzy Card (“Prize”). An Eligible Customer can win only one Prize in the Promotion Period.
  3. NAC will make reasonable efforts to notify winners that they have won. If, after reasonable efforts have been made by NAC, the winner cannot be contacted within 5 business days of the monthly prize draw, NAC may at its discretion: (a) deem the winner to have forfeited their right to the Prize; and (b) re-draw another eligible winner in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  4. NAC will make reasonable efforts to notify winners that they have won. If, after reasonable efforts have been made by NAC, the winner cannot be contacted within 5 business days of the monthly prize draw, NAC may at its discretion: (a) deem the winner to have forfeited their right to the Prize; and (b) re-draw another eligible winner in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  5. The winner will be contacted by NAC using the contact details held by NAC and will be provided with details on how to collect their Prize.
  6. The Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  7. NAC’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. NAC reserves the right to change the specifics of any Prize at its sole discretion.

General

  1. NAC reserves the right to terminate or amend any aspect of this Promotion without notice at any time.
  2. NAC is not responsible or liable for any winner’s inability to use his/her Prize.
  3. NAC takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or late entries, or any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, computer or network failure, or any other interruption that may affect the conduct of this Promotion or the prize draw.
  4. NAC and its related bodies corporate will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotion or any Prize.

Participants acknowledge that the Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook and that Facebook has no liability to Participants in relation to the Promotion. Participants and winners agree to fully release Facebook from any and all liability in relation to your participation in this Promotion. All information Participants provide in connection with this Promotion is to NAC and not to Facebook.

Privacy

  1. Information collected from all entries will be securely held by NAC at its offices at 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland. NAC may contact any or all entrants using the contact details provided in their entries for the purpose of the Promotion generally and for marketing and promotional purposes. NAC may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents in the course of conducting this Promotion and for marketing and promotional purposes. All entrants have the right to access and correct their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 by contacting NAC in writing at the address above.
